Christmas Gifts

Hello everyone welcome back to another blog post. Today I'm going to be talking about one of my favorite gifts that I have received ever. Let's get to it.

My favorite gift that I have ever received is definitely a Chicago Bears beanie. This may seem like an insignificant gift to you but it means a lot to me. The main reason that it's significant to me is that my brother is obsessed with the Green Bay Packers and he has so much packers apparel and I have very little bears gear. This was one of the first pieces of bears apparel that I have ever received and it means a great deal to me. Also it may have some lucky properties which I have noticed at games (usually basketball or football). Finally this hat always keeps me warm. The quality is amazing and it reminds me of my family whenever I wear it.

That's all for now. Thanks for reading.

Cloning Rant

Hello everyone. Welcome back to another blog post. As you probably noticed today I'm going to be ranting about cloning. This idea just popped into my head because we were doing a research project at school and coincidentally my topic was cloning. Also I thought t would be appropriate because of the new Star Wars movie. Well that's enough backstory. Let's get right into the rant.

Starting off cloning of humans would create more problems than it would solve. There would be an even more rapidly increasing population. The government could create an army out of one person(I'll get into that later). Finally wouldn't it be weird to see three of yourself running around?

Okay now back to the government creating an army out of one actual person. For all of you who have seen the older star wars movies, the main foot soldiers are called Clone Troopers. Essentially they are all the genetic clones of one highly skilled soldier. Theoretically this is possible because we have already begun cloning all sorts of animals, even bringing back the extinct Pyrenean Ibex for a short period of time. It is possible to clone humans but the sheer amount of resources needed is the largest barrier to cloning a human. So in the future if technology advances far enough it may be possible to turn one man into million or bring someone or something back from the dead.

This rant was inspired by Mrs. Joyner. Thanks for giving us that reat assignment :).

What Does a Name Mean?

So, what is really in a name. For starters everyone's name has some sort of origin story. For example my name became more popular through 12th Century German Kings bearing it. In German my name means "bold" and "counselor." I'm not completely sure why exactly my parents gave me my name, but it really doesn't matter because I love it. After doing a bit of research people associate my name either with anger, short temper, high alcohol tolerance (I'm not even joking), and more anger. Most of these fit my personality (I have an extremely short temper) but the I haven't found out if I have a high alcohol tolerance or not (remember I'm in eighth grade). Well that's really all I have to say on this topic. I'll see you all next time.

Where would I fit in?

Hello everyone, Welcome back. Today I'm going to talk about where I would fit in the Jigsaw puzzle that is G.M.S.

Personally I think that I would be good somewhere in the technological field whether it be teaching tech class or being the teacher tech help because I enjoy figuring out problems with technology. Also I understand most forms of technology nowadays and if I don't usually I can figure them out. My final reason for being a technology assistant is that I enjoy helping others understand some form of technology that they don't understand.

The other job that I think that I would fit into is the tech teacher. I think that I would fit well in this position because I enjoy helping others understand material especially when it's involves technology or robotics. Also I love working with robots so if I was able to show others how amazing robots and other technology is it would be an amazing feeling. Finally I love making learning fun and I think that I could put some fun into tech class which would be a challenge because I already find it fun.

That's all for now stay tuned for some new content coming soon. Thanks for reading!!

List of Greatfullnes

Hello everyone, welcome back to the blog. Today I'm going to be making a list of things I'm grateful for. Now if you think that this is a boring topic I have to things to say. Number 1 it's not my fault this is an assignment that I have to do for school and 2 if this seems boring move on to the next post. Alright then let's get started.

1. The first thing I'm grateful for is extremely cliche but I' going to use it anyway, It's my family. My reasoning behind this is that they are always behind me and always pick me up when I'm down. Also, they're hilarious. There is always something to laugh about because someone is always goofing off. Finally, they always know how I'm feeling and what I need at a moment.

2.  Next up we have technology. Where would we be without technology. It is arguably the greatest thing that happened to the human race because it connects us all. Whether it be through social media, texting etc. you won't find many people without some form of technology available to them most of the time if not at all times. I'm grateful for technology because it is a major part of my life. Whether I'm using it for homework to enjoy myself or just to relax it's always it's always with some form of technology.

3. Third we have my friends. My friends are amazing people. They are fun hilarious and always have some ridiculous shenanigans to spew out to perk up anyone around them. They also are great at their own thing whether it be playing games, playing sports, or building computers. I feel glad that I have them as my friends.

4. Fourth on the list we have good health. I'm great full for good health because I nearly never get sick so I never have to miss important events like games etc. I'm fortunate enough to have parents who care enough to regularly make sure that I'm healthy and that I will stay healthy.

5. Fifth up we have sports. I Love Sports. Whether it's watching or playing it's a complete pleasure to play. My favorite of them all is football. I fully enjoy both playing and watching it.

6. Next on the list we have to Golf B.O.B. team. Now I know that most if not all of the team would agree that they hate me and that I'm useless but it's still an enjoyable experience week after week. The meetings give me something to look forward to and a reason to endure the hardships of eighth grade.

7. Seventh, we have Literature. I love reading and I have ever since I was young. I love all books but my favorites include books that have to do with: Dragons, Magic, and Baskteball. Whenever I'm bored I can always crack  open a book and get sucked into the pages and relive the exquisite story's.

8. Now I know that this one is kind of like family but it's special. Number 8 has to go to my brother. I wouldn't be here without him. He's my best friend and my closest family at the same time. He completely understands me and is always there for me. He knows exactly what I need whenever I need it and he's always by my side when I need him and I trust him fully. We do have our differences though. *cough*cough cheese head *cough*cough.

9. Second to last today has to go to the amazing teachers and staff at Golf. Everyone there is so supportive and kind regardless of who you are. If it weren't for those individuals my experience at G.M.S. would have been much worse

10. We've come to the end of our list today and there is one spot left. This final spot has to go to Music. Music is always with me on my phone, on the radio, etc. It helps me calm down, it helps me get pumped up, it even helps me study, prepare for tests and other important things. Music is also a hobby because making music is just as fun if not more than simply listening to music.

This concludes the List of Gratefulness. I hope you enjoyed and I'll see you next time. Bye.

Nom Nom Nom

All right everyone. Welcome back, today we're going to be talking about FOOD.More specifically my least favorite food. Personally my least favorite food is an overcooked steak. I HATE IT. if anyone reading this has had an overcooked rubbery steak you'll understand how it feels. It's a burden to cut, chew, and swallow a single bite and it's especially annoying if the steak is a considerably large sized one in which case you may be sitting there for a lengthy amount of time. Also when a steak is overdone it looses most of it's taste so it almost seems like your trying to swallow a piece of grilled rubber. The reason behind me comparing an overcooked steak for any of yo that may be wondering is that whenever a steak is overdone it becomes soft yet extremely hard to cut and otherwise penetrate and rip apart sort of like rubber. Finally overdone steak will have a charred black skin which contrary to what I said earlier will give it a taste but a horrible one at that. Fir any of you that survived my rant to this point, Thanks for reading and have a great day.

Back When I Got Enough Sleep...

In today's post I'll be talking about a childhood favorite of mine, It's the Pokemon franchise. I was completely obsessed with Pokemon. Whether it was watching the show every morning, playing the card game, Playing the Video Games, or even pretending to become Pokemon (yes I was that into it). First off  remember that every morning I remember waking up early before school just to watch an episode of Pokemon. This franchise was my life and I still get Hyped when a new game is announced(the twentieth anniversary game is coming out November 18th). Next I played the card game. I loved buying the packs and I still have most of the cards today, over a 2 thousand by now. Also I played the actual games. To be honest through 5th grade this was how i spent most of my time. They still take up a good chunk of my time when i want to hunt for a shiny Pokemon or when a new game comes out. Finally around third grade a bunch of friends and I used to "become Pokemon and Battle" although it would always end in an argument about :who won, who was knocked out, and what Pokemon were fair. Well that's all for today see-ya.

Oh one more i should mention. The credit for this title goes to Sofia, thanks a lot. Check out her blog here

Where I See Myself in Ten Years

In ten years I see myself finishing college and going off to work at some huge gaming company like Wizards, Blizzard or Nintendo. The reason I would want to work at one of these companies is that for a while now i have enjoyed the games and products these companies have created so I want to be a part of that. The other thing that i would want to be doing is playing in the NFL. Ever since I was little I have loved watching and playing football. Something about the sport just appeals to me more than any others. The final thing I would want to do when I grow up is learn how to code and go work for T.U. (trans union). It's a major company which sells credit card information to banks/other companies who need them. I would want to work here because I've been going there ever since i was little with my mom and I've always had great experience. Also coding seems very interesting. Well that's all for now.

Trip Thing...

Today I will be talking about my favorite trip so far. This trip was actually a school field trip to camp Mac Lean. We left early in the morning from school and began driving to our destination Wisconsin. We arrived at about 10:00 A.M. Let me just say THE FOOD IS AMAZING. I don't know how they do it but everything that comes out of their kitchen is scrumptious. We did so many fun things there including Archery, Rock Climbing, and playing capture the flag in the black of night. The only part i didn't enjoy was the fact that there was a massive "parkour" course and zip-line that are reserved for eighth graders. Luckily we get to go again this year. That's all for now. Bye...

Escape Reality and Play Games.

This quote applies to me because whenever I'm having a tough time I can always load up a game and just get away. In a sense the virtual worlds built into the countless games out there are my escape from the harsh world that we live in. Whenever I just need a break or to think about something that's bothering me I can just load up any game at all and the virtual world just pulls me in and all is good in the world once more.
