Graduation Speech
Hello everyone, today is a very special day in the lives of all the eighth graders here at Golf. Soon we will be moving on from this great place and I think that I speak for most everybody when I say that we will miss it greatly. Our time here has been extremely eventful and I for one won't soon forget the memories that I have made here. I remember my first day of kindergarten at hynes. I was so afraid of being at a new school and with new people. After those first few weeks everything just seemed to fly by so quickly until we were off to Golf to start fifth grade. To us Golf was a massive difference from Hynes because it was huge. There were so many new things to learn, and new people to meet. Luckily for us our principal Ms. Chvojka was just starting at Golf as well and it helped a bit to know that we weren't the only ones starting at a new school.
With the start of a new school meant that we had much to learn about the way of things and just new material to cover in general. We had many amazing teachers to help us along the way including Mrs. Feinstein, Ms. Nelson, Mr. Carro, and Mrs. Joyner just to name a few. Fifth grade wasn't really that hard because we still had the same system as we did back at Hynes but then the year was over and we moved on to sixth grade.
With the start of sixth grade many things happened for example, we had to adjust to a new way of life at school. Rather than staying in one class, we were to travel around to many different classes to learn different subjects from different teachers. On the other hand sixth grade was nothing compared to what was to come in seventh grade.
In Seventh grade we were introduced to an entirely new subject, Spanish. With the extra year under our belts the work and stress began to build, and we soon realized that is was only going to get tougher still in eight grade and beyond.
Then finally we reached eight grade and we realized that this was our last hurrah and that this was going to be the largest amount of work that we had ever done in a year. We took this challenge head on and we have been working hard for the duration of the year and now we have arrived at what is essentially the end of our time here at GMS.
I would like to say one final thank you to all of the wonderful teachers and staff who have helped us along the way, and remember to never lose your Cardinal Spirit, thank you for your time.

A new chapter
Hello everyone, welcome back to another blog post. Today, if you couldn't tell by the ttitle, today I'm going to be talking about endings and beginnings. Since I'm going to be moving on to high school so this post will be a recollection of the good times at golf and some goals for summer.
One of my favorite moments at golf was in 5th grade. It was April fools day andy friends and I had a plan to prank our teacher who loves diet mountain dew. Essentially, when she wasn't looking, we grabbed her stash of mountain dew and hid it. Then we placed a bunch of water bottles in the place of the soda and with them a post if note that said "drink more water". This didn't go very well because she didn't actually notice, but it's still a fun little memory to keep with me.
And now for a goal for the summer. This summer, I definitely want to make sure that I have as much fun as possible before is start high school because this'll be my last chance to just screw around for a long time before I have no time because of school work. I just want to spend time with my friends and family, and have as much fun as I possibly can, rather than wasting my time worrying about high school.
Thanks for reading, have a great day.

Whitney's Miltank
Hello everyone, welcome back to another rant. Today, is you haven't guessed bt the title, I'm going to be ranting about Whitney's Miltank. Let me begin by saying THIS THING IS THE SINGLE MOST ANNOYING POKEMON YOU WILL EVER FIGHR. It's defenses are crazy for the third gym (oh yeah by the way this thing is in the third gym of pokemon heart good and soul silver). It also has a huge hp stat to boot. It has strong for a stab attack with a flinch chance which is always annoying, rollout, which grows in power when it's used consecutively, attract so you can barely hit the thing, and tk top it all off MILK DRINK SO IT CAN BE IMMORTAL. Oh and if you thought "Oh it's a normal type gym I'll just catch a ghastly!" WRONG, this thing has scrappy so it can hit your ghost types as well. To even get to this thing you have to get through her clefaiey first which isn't that hard unless it's metronome lands on hydro canon or sacred fire.
That's pretty much it. To sum it all up, this thing is the single most annoying and painful pokemon to fight. Thanks for reading

Running away from school with the schools help...
If it were possible for my class to go anywhere for a field trip, I would definitely want to go to New York to watch Hamilton. My reasoning is it just seems like an amazing show. I have listened to most of the songs in the musical and thoroughly enjoy them. Also most of my class including some of our teachers enjoy it or have even watched it so I think that it would be a great choice for a field trip (which probably won't ever happen).
If I had the choice of picking a field trip for my class I would definitely pick Hamilton in New York.

Movie Thing
Essentially the story depicts the classic Batman vs. Joker story but in a fun new way, with some other twists and turns . Basically the story revolves on Batman's loneliness and how he tries to combat it without letting others into his life. He believes that he doesn't need any others in his life but he accidentally adopts an orphan which he forgets about then treats like a tool. He slowly becomes accustomed to him and becomes more of a father to him. He meets other people and slowly realizes that he doesn't have to be afraid of being a part of a family any more because the people he cares about will help him through it. In the end they all work together and solve the problems occurring in gotham.
Overall I would give this movie a 8.5/10. I think that i could have been a little more humorous but otherwise it was a great movie and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Oh By the way did anyone notice that gotham is just a compound word made up of Got Ham?

Political Rant
Hello everyone welcome back to another blog post. Sorry for the inactivity lately but today's post will definitely interesting. Today we're going to be talking about what my goals would be as president.
First off if you are in my class you probably know by know that I like watching things explode and thus I would like to eradicate any any and all opposition to the thriving of the U.S. I believe that if the U.S.s relationship with Russia was a better one wars would be much less common due to the fact that America and Russia are essentially creating all or most of the conflicts worldwide. Therefore if we had a better relationship with them we would be able to focus on other threats like terrorism in the middle east. To summarize I would try to fix relations with Russia and eradicate terrorists.
Second I would try to fix a messed up economy. The way that I see all of the people coming to america are taking jobs that don't really belong to them. There are people who work at companies for a long time, they are good at what they do and they enjoy what they do but all of a sudden they are dropped because some immigrant with barely any experience at the job in question but they get the job anyway for some odd reason. I think that just because immigrants need jobs to support their families they shouldn't be able to take the jobs of long time workers. Also companies need to stop shipping out of America because instead of creating jobs we are losing them. I would offer benefits to companies which decided to stay American rather than moving out.
My final goal would be to enforce immigration laws but not to such extremes as president Trump. I would create a system which would make it so that anyone wishing to immigrate to america would have to pass a series of tests ensuring that the person in question must have a strong work ethic have no criminal record and other important qualities that an american should have.
